PSP 3.80 update featuring streaming audio, video scene search, and OPML support
Thanks to tony for bringing this to the forum’s attention…
According to Sony Japan they’ve got a 3.80 firmware update for the PSP in the chute. Due to be for released on the 18th of this month, the new update brings the following additions:
- Streaming Internet Radio player
- Video scene search
- RSS now supports OPML and pictures
- PSP-2000 owners with 1Seg tuners can use an EPG to schedule Japanese mobile television recordings
- PlayStation Spot now available at BB Mobile Point (Japan only)
Perfect time to be released, just before christmas

3.71 M33-4 Released

The title says everything.
Changelog:
- Bugfix: Multidisc psx games bought in the psn store would not work due to the format being different
and M33 treating them as decrypted games.
- Added support for decrypted multidisc psx games created with popstation_md (supplied with this release).
Included in the package is a new version of popsloader.
Changelog in popsloader:
- Bugfix: Games without compression had sound issues when using 3.72 pops. Fixed.
- Added support for multidisc psx games created with popstation_md. Note: multi disc games will
only work in 3.71 and 3.72 pops. Previous pops will exit to the xmb with generic error 0×80000004
when attempting to run multidisc games.
Great update, in my opinion.
